Pointless War
An ominous path
Of fire and stone
The broken man
He walks alone
Behind him lies
A field of pain
Blood soaked earth
And death in vain
Fearless warriors
Fall from grace
Returned to earth
A peaceful place
The man foresaken
A pointless war
The stench of death
Forever more.
This poem is dedicated to all of the men and women
who fight to keep this country safe.
