Poets Are My People

Poets:
My folks
You lend me
Many lyrics
Sourced from life’s lore,
You sing a sweet song
Reflecting the tales of throng
I must listen to your rhymes
Like the sparrows singing in the skies
You sooth my humble heart both day and night

This is excellent. I like the touch of alliteration in the lines. The last line brings humbleness to the soul. Great job! Joseph
