Poetry Speaks

Now and here see:
I hide and wait.
Can words find me
Early not late?

Lines of words cry:
What do I see?
Hear echoes sigh
For what may be.

Verse in swift strides:
Create new space.
Why this joy ride
As zest grooms trace.

Word scripts now tease:
Hear humour draft.
Seize apt deep peace
In puzzle craft.

Rhymes blush in time:
Watch feelings flame.
Mimes in burst rhymes
Conjure not blame.

Words mellow strains:
Meaning seeds thought.
Bear with odd pain
That echoes lot.

Each stanza fires:
Neat playful sip.
Words now attire
An inner peep.

Listen dear heart:
Poetry can hurl.
Hear music start
As tensions curl.
