Poetry Soup Friends

I pick up little treasures of poetic swirls like heavy cream on a sundae, here at poetry soup. Rich meaty soup, a bean mix from around the world Seasoned with exotic herbs from many nations Shaped in crocks from potters hands uniquely molded Ladled and tasted across the ocean Shared and savored Favored and cherished Poetry soup friends!!

thank you for your comments on my poems, i apologize if the "a muse, not amused" poem was insulting, i am always beset by people jumping to the nearest wrong conclusion and blighting poems written in joy, love, sincerity, "exalted happiness", or even in an attempt to write an epic, or to evoke. to some people something written is an opportunity to smear, degrade, insult, look down on, or slander a person. i had no intention to bring you down, malice and ignorance surrounds me, but needent you.

There are quite a few delectable morsels here on Poetry Soup and I like the way you describe them as "poetic swirls" in a sundae. I feel the same way about the folks here -- always so kind and supportive. Very nice dedication to the Soup Family! Love, Carolyn

Great tribute to all poets on soup, Doris! I've got two favourite soup-receipes: Caldo Verde (Portuguese potato soup with potatoes boiled in broth and smashed, olive oil, salt & pepper, a few slices of chorizo and garnised with some fresh stripes of savoy cabbage) and a Soup with greens beans, potato cubes boiled in chicken broth, some smoked ham (in small cubes) and some black pepper and salt! Thank you for your comments...Gert
