Poetry Soup Concerns

I‘ve written three poems just to make a point
Poetry Soup had put me clear out of joint
“POEM COMMENTS”, that’s the first one I wrote
Because there were comments that made me chock

Next was titled “MEMBER CONTEST SCORING”
Having multiple winners was boring
“AM I DENSE OR SOMETHING”, the last of three
Addressed poems that are confusing to me

And now I still have some itches to scratch
The ratings of poems are eggs rarely hatched
If you comment a poem, then rate it too
Make this a rule; it’s a good thing to do

And please rate the poem as best that you can
If everyone did that, it would be grand
Keep anonymous who made the rating
That will control any rating hating

I’d like to block comments from a few fools
And not because they’re malicious or cruel
I’d like the “copy and paste” comments nixed
Stop member points for comments; the best fix

I can’t believe, comments on everything
Sometimes the words are exactly the same
It’s just to get points to raise their rating
The words are worthless, I find them grating

Now some may disagree with what I’ve said
Respond to this poem if it turned you red
If you agree, I’d like to hear from you
Improving the system’s the thing to do
