Poetry Soup

Here's a poem for Poetry Soup,
One that I wrote on a whim.
Perhaps more views I'll get with this title.
Or maybe at least a grin.

As much as I appreciate,
The obligatory "hello".
I'd like to hear from the rest of you.
Your thoughts I'd like to know.

We pour our hearts into these writes,
And post them for all to see. 
It's nice to watch the "views" go up,
But your thoughts, let them be.

I have this knack for writing things,
I have to let them air.
Maybe my writing just isn't enough, 
Perhaps I could emcee somewhere?
