Poetry Soup

April is a lucky day
When I discovered you!

I set aside cooking
Because you fill my appetite!

I set aside cleaning
Because you cleanse my soul!

I set aside sleeping
Because you keep me awake!

Then,  I forgot to mail my bills
Because I tarried with you overnight!

Then, I was forced to read the poetry forms
And yet, I am still confused!

No regrets whatsoever
Because I admire you!
