Poetry Soup

It’s a bit like stone soup
Remember? that old
story of famine
where everyone brings
a parcel of whatever they have
and throws it in.

PoetrySoup offers a banquet
for every taste.

Each contributor partakes
each taste is unique
yet all are fed.
No one leaves hungry.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Thanks for pulling the curtain aside and calling attention to the many pleasures of this locale. Still here after several years, though my output has been reduced by endless surgeries. Helps lend perspective, as your poetry often excels at.

Wow! My sentiments exactly; I have learned so much already in a very short time among these souls; my tribe!

Thank you, Irene. Have been very busy writing a book. Prose, this time. A memoir.
