Poetry Lasts
It is forever
It is etched
in stone
and can survive anything
Life is impermanence
but Poetry is in a
class by itself
It survives,
is passed down
from generation to generation
The written Word
is solid
It enlightens your Soul
Brings you to
a higher plane
Brightens your days
and nights
Is immortal, everlasting
Blessed by the Muses
