Darkness..darkness all around..not a ray of light
Never knew how to express myself-
Mumble..jumble..were all of my words
I opened my mouth to speak but..complete..
S------I------L------E------N------C------E
One word couldn't-wouldn't connect to another
Would anyone ever understand my silence?
Pen met paper..created the perfect language
Unique expression formed within me-
Emotions on paper..were all of my words
I opened my mind to speak and....
P------O------E------T------R------Y
Became motion!
