Poetry, Fair Poetry
Poetry, fair poetry.
P~egusus, winged stallion of the Muse
O~btrude upon your minions rightful dues!
E~arnest in their passion to create
T~apestries a verbalist finds innate
R~abble speak only echoes shades of gray;
Y~ammering on, it fills us, night and day
S~alve, kind Pegusus, my offended ear
O~intment? A soothing verse that I find dear
U~biquitous; it charms those who know it,
P~oetry, fair poetry, and poet.
