Poetry Brings

Poetry allows me 
Not really so much grace 
I write what I want
Don't care if I fall on my face 

Without you there 
There would only only be booze 
I write with best intentions 
But I write with a ruse 

I sit here in writing 
It's a phase of madness because of you
Wanting to hear what you'll say 
Waiting to hear what you'll do

Jan Allison January 11, 2015 at 4:08 PM I think we all write for different reasons Lauren - i am blessed I only started writing 11 months ago after my husband was recovering from cancer surgery - it truly has changed my life forever and i am able to express myself and my emotions as I never have before:-) It is also helping me through the most difficult period of my life:-( Hugs Jan - a 7 from me xx
