Poetry and Me

Poetry is my lover, my inspiration and my legacy. Poetry teaches compassion when others are crying for revenge, soothes troubled souls and tells of love in it's warm embrace. Poetry is the beauty that surrounds us. 

Poetry is my comforter when my heart is broken, my lion when I need courage and my power to inform, chastise and inspire with it's message. Poetry is my friend who waits to help me when I call.

Poetry to me is the living spirit of what needs to be said and what needs to be heard. It makes me immortal and lights a path for others to follow me in this journey through life.
