Poetry

Simple words, written in line,
With either rhythm, or either rhyme.
Let thy imagination find.
A little something, of every kind.
Pour it all, across your mind,
Amazing now, is what you'll find.
A dancing fish, a flying dime,
A talking dish, a crying lime.
There's no limit, or no crime,
A perfect way to pass your time.
Jus simple words, written in line,
With either rhythm, or either rhyme.

I like the idea here, Maryam, and the form...the idea that poetry can be about anything, and if it's good, well, GREAT, no matter the subject. Why then all the intensely personal stuff I read, when, considering poetry can be about anything, the subjects are endless. Love, daver

That's why i love this site, as everyone is good at what they produce, but every poetry is unique in its own way. that is good

That is a very carefree and nice way to think about what we do. I think I find that I put so much pressure on myself to write that I forget to just let it flow out of me. Thank you for this poem!
