Poetics Poem, a Poem Rises

POETICS POEM 6 “A Poem Rises”

Yet another poem is trying
To bear itself up through the narrow
Network of cave-like tunnels
To surface. I cannot see
Its face, but do feel its effort...
To rise in a complete proclamation:
Its sound perhaps astounding...

A very interesting description of the "birth" of a poem, Sally. We never know how an idea will be received by others, so the last line, "Its sound perhaps astounding" leaves us with the hope that our message will be conveyed. Nicely done, Sally!
