Poetic Nuptials
My love you have found me in my proudest hour.
My dear I found you in my prayers so clear.
Soon we shall be bound in harmony of power.
Soon we shall be together in a bond so sincere.
Take my hand and promise to love me forever.
I take your hand and swear to cherish your heart.
Holding hands honoring each other in this endeavor,
Now we share words that can never be torn apart.
Looking into each other’s eyes, glistening in love,
Seeing each other’s hearts shine in heartfelt gold,
Standing so very close, watched by angels above,
We fold together for our binding kiss does unfold.
Bound in matrimony today, we placed our rings.
Upon each other’s fingers, now our passion sings.
