Poetic Justice

Life is just a bowl of cherries A song from way back when It still holds true in today's troubled world The locale may be different But it's the same old song You'd think we would learn from our mistakes But war and strife is built in To our collective psyches My question is why when the great majority Of us humans would rather live in peace That those dasterdly few at the top Are not satisfied with the statis quo But continually want more and don't care Who dies or how many lives are ruined Will they pay for their sins in the afterlife It WOULD be poetic justice! Wouldn't you agree? © Jack Ellison 2014

Excellent poem Jack! Now what about that bowl of delicious cherries? Can you send me one? Lol... I just want peace too. Lots of people today sadly just care about money and material stuff. They care less about love family and friends...and God who needs Him, they think that they're God Almighty. So sad no poetic justice in this world most of the time today.theres so much chaos everywhere. .no real hearts, they walk like robots and zombies Jack. See ya next this gal has to fly now...where's my broom now? Lol.... ;) Hugs! Love peace and light to you! xxxx D.

The bowl of cherries is in my fridge waiting for your address... I'll send the whipped cream separately! My biggest joy in life is making people laugh! There's enough sadness in the world these days! Isn't Dorian usually a man's name? Just curious... a bunch of loving hugs headed your way!!! XXXXX

I live in St. Louis next to the Ferguson rioting... These people look up to violence in others... Education, and a proper upbringing would help stop most of this stupidity. But they don't WANT to learn to behave... And why should they when everyone is LETTING them behave badly... They're getting a kick out of the attention they're getting... When they should just be getting a kick in the butt for destroying others property. It's disgusting.

Actually, they never stopped doing it on a lower scale. They're trashy people who want an excuse to cause trouble. Last night they stopped an ambulence, with a child inside- from going into Childrens Hospital. No one sees them as any thing than trash... It's not protesting... It's vandalism. They stand there and try to antanganize the police. If someone tapes that- they attack them.
