when eyes are poems they speak with a gaze not words~ mirror out feelings. when eyes are harlot they stink like a park keeper~ mirror their hatred.

Hi my friend Lasaad, Eyes can throw daggers whilst they can be as gentle as a lamb but you so well compare hatred and kind sentimental eyes with apt intellectual words. Excellent Haiku. Blessings and hugs, Jennifer.

Very lovely poem. Perhaps I should tone down the mascara. Eye catching has a reason for being a popular saying, I've never heard ear hearing nor nose smelling. Thank you for this haiku.

A beautiful pair of haikus reflecting the ambivalent nature of eyes. Also an excellent image to go with it. Eyes can mirror soft sentiments as well as hatred.

SP, sounds like you had a bad experience with a park ranger at some point. There might be a few bad seeds out there. Most of the ones I've met seem to enjoy themselves and have the interest of the public at heart. I also really like how you express the duality of emotion with two completely different sentiments. BTW, great picture!
