Poetic Affirmations
my soul's vibrant hues unfold like a canvas
of endless possibility.
I am a masterpiece of resilience,
I am a civilian in my creative pavilion
The day may be long but
My poetry roots are strong
Crafted with every scar,
my life is a poetic memoir
Society tried to put me to sleep
I awaken to the promise of a new day
A new day's promise takes its place,
As blessings occupy my mental space
With every breath, with every step,
I’m right on track when thing go left.
In the mist a a spiritual fight
Blessing light up my darkest
Night
though the journey's long,
We pave the path, He keeps
The score and does the math.
We find the strength to seize the day
in the stillness.
