Poet Or Not
I write a lot of poetry, I couldn't enjoy it more.
Sometimes it's really easy, other times it's quite a chore.
To call myself a poet, I'm not even gonna try,
When compared to other soupers, I don't even qualify!
Oh, I've written several poems, in which I felt inspired,
but all-in-all most of the time, I left a lot to be desired!
My talent - if I call it that, has many limitations!
But to my surprise, most of the time, I receive congratulations!
I get feeling that I'm doing good, I'm thinking I'm a poet!
Then after reading other soupers stuff, I don't come close, I know it!
However, I'm not gonna quit, I find it fun to do.
Could I be called a poet? Folks, I'll leave that up to you!
