Poet Destroyed? Prelude To a Slam!

Stealing a page from The Sonnet Man's book,
This personality came out to play,
Wanting to take an even closer look
At what The Destroyer might have to say.
He had been studying this poet's moves,
While reading each one of her slam battles.
He saw how quickly she got in a groove,
Impressed with how she left them all rattled.
So, Doc the POET stepped up to the plate,
Challenging The Destroyer to a duel,
And he willingly proceeded to wait,
As she proceeded to make all the rules.
He does not plan to let her steal the show,
Nor does he plan to "lose two in a row."
