Poet Destroyed???????

Just once, I would like to battle the queen,
Experiencing your bite and your bark.
Think that you are able to leave your mark?
Then, it will be believed when it is seen.
In the light of day, we can keep it clean,
Then back to talking dirty after dark,
Using fighting words to create that spark,
As we trade blows, that appear to be mean.
I am ready for this fight to begin.
Poet Destroyer! Let us have some fun.
I am certain that we will still be friends,
Respecting each other, when we are done.
I will definitely enjoy the win,
Since in the end "there can be 'only one'!"

ladies and gentlemen, this series of poetry was not my actual slam to p.d. this was just the line in the sand. like i said, if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. i am just putting the challenge out there and waiting for her to respond. i was assured by her that she was more than willing to "Destroy" the Poet (Doc the POET). look forward to a great battle. i look forward to challenging myself, like i did with sarah hales.
