Ummar Hamis Poet Light Verse

Poet

         my name is ummar
and here i am to change 
the rules of this game of words
with relentless charisma
flowing through my rhymes


i bring rhymes to life 
through the spoken word
after lots of attempts by others
but just forget what from them you've heard
for my words have power to calm
the throbbing pulse of pain
and come like a benediction that follows a prayer!

i inspire good hymns
if you listen i deliver
words from deep within
flowing like a river


so take time,from your schedule so vast
to take a peek at some of my work
and lend the rhyme therein the beauty of your voice
and the air shall be filled with music
soothing hearts
caught in snares!
