Poems I'll never tell him - new version

In the quiet of my heart, a plea unfolds, "Don't make me write another poem, love," my story told. Expressing love, a skill I may lack, Like a sticker's cling, or a baby's soft knack. When my words dance in love's sweet embrace, It's the echo of a heart in a fervent chase. Yet, I fear to reveal my vulnerable core, Hide it away, let it breathe no more. Don't let my verses tell of the joy I find, In the thrill of your voice, my heart entwined. Don't coax my pen to weave one more tale, For in the fleeting ink, my fears set sail. I'm afraid, my love, of things that fade, Like poems forgotten, in shadows laid. So spare me the task, let silence speak, A gentle language only hearts can seek.
