Now I wait on the other side listening to sparrows and doves
But the truth is; I hear only silence
Your heart beating someplace
That I'll never find

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I am getting ready to release my first book of poetry and it's one delay after another. We are set to finish up with the book this Wednesday or Thursday.

This is beautifully sad, a haunting deep sadness that totally grabbed my mirrored feel with the last line ... CayCay
