Poem About a Kibbutz

Visited Lavi
   A religious kibbutz
Where they had a nice hotel
I saw the cows they were raising
And ate some tasty food
That was on my ten day trip to Israel
The Holy Land!
  Politics there is different
than the politics in the U.S.A.
Does this work seem like prose
Well it is meant to be a poem
          so comment on it!

It's funny how you inserted a message to Soup members in the ending. I too did about 5 to 10 days in Israel on a Bible tour that took us all over that country. I even ate camel meat there, not knowing it at the time. It was pretty good. When did you go there?

An amazing visit to Israel....a holyland I have only seen in movies and documentaries. Lucky you! It would be an adventure of a lifetime....and I have traveled much Matthew, but never there. I enjoyed your poem! Happy Hanukkah and holidays my friend. : ) xxoo

I would like to travel more but ill health may prevent me. I had a good day today. I went to a postcard show - I often write about them - for money! Also I attended a concert of Yiddish songs. All in all an interesting day. Thanks so much for your kind words. Peace & Love Matthew Anish
