Poem

A poem, holds a prize As it gradually unfolds Revealing an inner side Like a tiny rose bud Starting out tightly closed Unfolding Taking on a richer color With new dimensions Opening itself up Bringing joy and beauty To waiting eyes

This vision of the poem speaks your consciousness of a philosophy about life ... it is the consciousness that brings order to our themes, and make you meaningful in your write. I want to encourage you, fellow traveller that may get there ... wheresoever the muse intends, and that they will let me put the laurel on your head, my brilliant friend.

A poem is surely an offering (like a rose) from a poet's heart, and we all hope our gift will be well-received by bringing "joy and beauty" to the reader's eyes. Great work, Carrie!
