Pocket Kisses

From sweet bowed lips
to soft chubby hands
sticky with chocolate candy
Squeezed in lovingly
until pockets are bulging
kisses reserved for Granny

Ah yes, kisses from grandma's lips and from Hershey's, too. Just beginning my trip into grandfatherdom and am looking forward to the journey. I expect my grandkids to be the subject of many a future poem. Thanks for your comments on my poem and in my blog. Keep up the good work. Joe

Sweet children of the candy corn. Who fill our souls with life reborn. The love they send so sweet and true. Makes one forget that they are blue.

For a moment, for a day, whenever they are around...my mind and heart feels sound. Their love is unconditional....as mine is for them
