PLUM

Peace has settled in my heart after years of isolation,
Light of love warms the quiet corners of my heart,
Understanding blooms in my heart where memories linger,
Mercy whispers mercy — healing wounds with tender grace.

Perhaps in stillness we hear our kindest calling,
Lingering doubts dissolve beneath compassion’s tide,
United we stand in gentleness and shared wisdom,
Mirrors of each other — kind, forgiving, and at rest.

Yes, Jay, mirrors of each other. I told my husband, the other day, that I am his mirror. I didn’t go into detail with him. We each should hear what another has to say. Iron sharpens iron. Creativity blooms through interaction, not isolation. God bless!

Beautifully done double acrostic. If it is entered for the contest, it will be a sure winner.
