Notes About The Poem

I'm all for technology but why EVERYWHERE?

Plots

Some old movie plots
can't happen now, with changes
in technology...

You know, in a movie
when someone texts everyone
at school by* mistake*?

Who has *EVERYONE*
at school on their contacts list?
No way that happens.

Parent-less parties
where scores show up - with modern
*surveillance systems*?

or ditching class, heck
my parents are texted my
quiz scores real-time.

"why'd you get an 88
on that Calculus test, I
thought you studied?" Argh!

A good grounding is to look at all the tyre tracks in movies portraying pre-1900 times . . . . .Aloha! Rico

My friends and I, when we watch a movie and see something wrong (like tire tracks) - we call out "continuity!" and we usually rewind so everyone can see it =]

True, technology has both a good side and a bad side. And an 88 in Calculus, what shame! I NEVER made an 88 in Calculus...Calculus and Physics were the reason I changed my major from Engineering to Accounting. But it all worked out. Have a great weekend!

Now days, because parents see EVERYTHING, everything from school comes under this parental microscope - it's frustrating. I tell them - this was a pop quiz, it counts as NOTHING - but they pretend not to "get" it.
