Pleased Parents

Not enough. It’s never enough for you!
What else do you want me to do?
No affection, just disdain
No attention, only pain
Sick and dying? Who cares, who cares!
You don’t.
Sometimes I just want to
Escape escape
It isn’t fair Abba.
So unfair
Are you there?
I do my best to be good
But it’s all in vain
I’m ugly
Then I’m pretty
Well which is it?
Like a slap to the face
I know I’m a disgrace.
