Please. You'Ll Never Understand Who I Am

Please don't look at me,
Eyes filled with fake sympathy,
Just because of who I am.

Please don't judge me,
With your non-existant empathy,
Based solely on who I should be.

Please don't try.
You can't define.
There's no one quite like me.

Please don't pretend,
Because that's all it is in the end,
That you're my friend.

With your closed eyes
And pre-determined mind,
You'll never understand who I am.
