Please Use Consonant In a Sentence

“Please use it in a sentence.” “We live on the Chicago consonant,” the eighth grader said, proudly. “Do you know what a consonant is?” The teacher asked the student. “Sure,” he said, “Like Rhode Island, right?” His classmates nodded. This was fabricated from a variety of similar experiences. I always smile when I say they can move to any country and they say they will move to California, and I keep my mouth shut, not wanting to spoil their train of thought. If you ask children of today to name the continents, I can but imagine what they would say. Hollywood, Palm Beach, Orlando?
