St Francis gained a friend today
As our lovely cat passed away
Please Francis warmly greet
Let him play and dance your feet
He has been a friend for many years
His grave was blessed by family tears
He was sent to you to share your love
To sit your lap in heaven above
Today the cat passed away
For another place to play
Many tears on pillows tonight
And empty bowls at first light
