Please Know

I come to a home all alone saying why did you have to go.

You were innocent but yet you were taken away like a prisoner, sorry there was nothing I could have done to get more time to have fun.

You jump on me when I got back from school at the time I was a fool saying get down now I look back and frown at the neglect I had shown.

You hide behind me when your life was on the line because you knew I wouldn’t let you stand alone.

You begged and I must fess my resistance was torn like you cast a spell to ex-spell the word no.

You were a Man’s best friend even till the end when you thrown out the house like a unwanted mouse or has if you had the plague to make us all dead.

You whined for you knew your story was through but don’t think I didn’t cry too.

While you're gone please know you were the inspiration to my soul with your innocent eyes looking into mine as we said goodbye for your life and also mine has been changed until the day we die.
