Please Handle With Care

My poems are fragile, please handle with care Protect them from sunlight, and people who stare The paper is brittle, like parchment of old The words penned in blood, speak of nightmares untold Cradle the stories, and words of desire Don't let them wander, or get close to the fire Keep them from danger, and always be fair My poems are fragile, please handle with care.
