Please, God

Please, Found God,
let us laugh so hard.
Let him tell me jokes,
let me shuffle the cards

Please, New God,
let us climb so high.
Let him sit on a branch,
let me watch the sky.

Please, Sweet God,
let us love so deep.
Let him kiss me at night,
let me hold him and weep.

Please, Dear God,
let us fall apart.
Let him tell me his secrets,
let me show him my scars.

Please, Dark God,
let us crumble together.
Let him slam the door,
let me cut the tether.

Please, My God,
let us have won.
Let him save me,
let me drop the gun.

Please, Lost God,
let us forgive.
Let him come back,
let me still live.

Please, God,
let us free.
Let him prosper,
leave me be.
