Please Don'T

Spit on me
Wasn’t I
That destroyed your home
Tore your life apart
Sent you to the bottom
Of the world
With bombs and lead
I am on your side
I see the hypocrisy
I see the truth
I would give you
The shirt off my back
If that would help
And I have
But you wouldn’t know that
You just see another
White westerner
You don’t see
What’s inside of me
On the other side
You cant see my respect
I have for your culture
Your people
I understand
And feel
Your hurt and pain
So please
Don’t spit on me
