Pleasantries In the Garden
PLEASANTRIES IN THE GARDEN
how pleasant old woman...
he gently pulls her walker
on pieces of broken stone —
a path into the shaded woods.
how pleasant in conversation,
slowly sipping the afternoon.
the path leading to the koi pond —
kin exhale onto a benevolent bench.
how pleasant of first contact
inside the bonsai gate, the flora
...the mini woods with fairies,
fostered with tea bag fertilizer.
the conversation of strangers, who
meet once beneath the heavens.
my impression of a sweet rose scent...
yay, from the garden, but also the guest.
