Play's Not Over

When he was playful with me,
I turned the play into war
Couldn't stand it or him

So he stepped away
Doesn't play with me anymore
Occasional joke here and there

But now am the one being playful
Limping towards his soul
I joke, more than I used it
Am nicer
I don't mind being around him
Am in control

Love the poem, absolutely hate emotional game playing. Wrong test of the wrong person at the wrong time, a good love lost forever. Kind regards, Ian
