Playlist Poetry

"I went to the crossroad" under a dark and heavy sky, "The thrill is gone" now, and "love in vain" goes passing by. "Me and the devil blues" are walking down this lonely lane, But "stop the clocks" tonight, because "some might say" it’s all in vain. "Come on in my kitchen" where the shadows softly creep, "I bet you look good on the dancefloor" while the city is asleep. "Fluorescent adolescent," don't you look back in anger now, We're "paying the cost to be the boss" and we will survive somehow. "Rock me baby" gently beneath a "champagne supernova" sky, "Do I wanna know" the reasons why the heavy spirits sigh? "Nobody loves me but my mother" when the "evening sun" goes down, But "we've got the masterplan" to finally leave this ghostly town.
