“against the wind” – then she told him,
This is “more than a feeling”…
His “heart and soul” spoke, and he said,
“There ain’t no mountain high enough”
To keep me from you, my “Kentucky woman”,
“You light up my life” with your smile
“You oughta know”…
At times, I can be “hard to handle”
But “I can see clearly now”
“You belong to me” and even though,
“You can’t always get what you want”
“this love of mine” is forever,
“Put your arms around me, honey”
“And the angels swing”
“And the green green grass grew”
“And Her tears flowed like wine”
And, He said, “Before the next teardrop falls”
You know “I can’t stand the rain”, and though
“I can’t give you anything but love, baby”
Oh, “I love you truly”
And, “I wanna be loved by you”
So, let the “good times roll”
My “funny girl” – Take me “Far, far away”
With you, “I feel the earth move”
And even if “it makes no sense at all”
I know this love isn’t “make believe”
“Oh, yeah, it feels so good”
“Oh, pretty woman”…
This is my “once in a lifetime”
And I’m “pledging my love” to you
So just like “Romeo and Juliet”
“we’ve only just begun” our story
Yes, my girl, “we’re gonna make it”
And she said, “what a wonderful world”
Just “stay with me” “Louisianna Man”
This “love changes everything”
“for once in my life” “everything’s okay”
Because, just like I already said,
