Playing Your Fool
Listen to poem:
I don’t want to be anyone’s fool; I just want to be yours
Yes, go on, blame me, I know, I am just a lost cause
But never the victim, because I am enjoying the ride
And, if I said I never loved you; then know I have lied
I am just so addicted to all the games you play
I know I should have gone, but I chose to stay
I don’t want to be anyone’s fool; I just want to be yours
Yes, go on, blame me, I know, I am just a lost cause
My life may not be worth living, but at least I would have lived
I hope all those that I leave behind; all learn to forgive
No one can revenge me; only you can leave me raw
But only because I love you, and you know the score
I don’t want to be anyone’s fool; I just want to be yours
Yes, go on, blame me, I know, I am just a lost cause
Did you see me coming, of that I will never know
But in the end who cares, because I am giving it a go
Because I love the emotions; you drive around me the bend
And I am sticking with you babes, to the very end
I don’t want to be anyone’s fool; I just want to be yours
Yes, go on, blame me, I know, I am just a lost cause
I don’t want to be anyone’s fool; I just want to be yours
Yes, go on, blame me, I know, I am just a lost cause
[SPOKEN]
Did you see me coming, of that I will never know
But in the end who cares, because I am giving it a go
Because I love the emotions; you drive around me the bend
And I am sticking with you babes, to the very end
