Playing With My Mind

You can’t play with my mind
Sending it on a roller coaster ride
All the emotions I tried to hide
And the feelings I tried to forget

You can’t just come back
After all these years
Forgetting the past
Like it never happened

You can’t pretend
You never met me before
When you know
All that there is to know

You can’t steal my heart
When you have already captured it once
A part of me will be forever yours.
