Playing Princess

I’m a waste of paper A waste of ink A waste of words Letters Paint. Attention. I could burn you to the ground From the fire in my eyes You couldn’t think twice Barley once Before we fall into the shadows of A once dream Twice nightmare Over and over again. You know I only lead to Unhappy endings And you don’t know what to do With fairy tales I’ve never been able to let My drawbridge down And you’ve never Fought your dragons How typical of me, To write a story Forget the beginning and Skip straight to the end. Only leaving conflict behind You can’t swim And I never learned how to walk But still we charge, Headfirst, Into this brick wall That still can’t Break me.
