Notes About The Poem

Playing Games With Daisies

love me love me not
when playing games with daisies
made you laugh then made you scoff
at nature's fortune telling
and yet you would write
a poem when we first met
of how then your fate was sealed
when you looked into my eyes
and saw no other future
it is destiny your words confessed
and then you softly kissed me
into fifty years of traveling
still playing games with daisies
but nature's fortune telling
has become love me love me love me

Very vulnerable, loved the ending, so true you are to you....
