Playground Closing

Last days at the playground
Kiddies squealing with delight
Before the rangers take down swings
And cover the merry-go-round
With waterproof canvassing.
Tots return to their playrooms at home
And dream of Santa Claus's bounty
Which will come, but seems forever--
Seemed forever when I was a kid.

Yep, I think we all do. School's out and Christmas would simply never come!
