Player
You played the game
one I had always won
but this time you lit-
gassed exposed
and I'm done
like a ticking time bomb
waiting for the appropriate moment-
when all is calm, comfortable-
believable
like the lies that roll off your tongue.
You're sweet talk stinging-
venom clenched-
erupt out of the blue
and once there's any sense of emotions
any sort of attachment
you're gone
like the wind beneath my fingers
and the water in a stream
you're so lost without your compass
claiming to be stuck between
but in the end you'll lose
cause I'm already walking above
and those lies will catch you,
with no where to run
and no one to lie to
because when you keep repeating
you'll trip over your words
and have no one to turn to
all cause you thought you won
