A man and his girlfriend are walking home. It's nearly twilight and the stars are fading. The man
Is lost in his own thoughts.
Platinum dawn
The ambiance I feel
You coming on
There you are.
I'm never wrong
Fingernails scratching me
Awake from a daydream
As platinum dawn slyly slides
Across the rosy sky
I'm lost by and by
I'm grabbing air
Thinking of your hair,
Soft and long
We grow reckless now
And younger by the hour
Skipping puddles and dodging
Thunder showers
A platinum dawn celebrated
By us two scuffed heals we
Danced Teflon strong
I'm angry at memories
What should have been
But DREAMS SUPREME.
Sleeping in the day
I stirred awake it's night
Spare me please, baby
It's causing some headaches
And continuous complicated
Conclusions I can't.... I can
Barely function enough assumption
Silky at the moon, but it's almost
Fabled fabric's favorite festive afternoon
Hours coming on
In spite of all your perfections
A perfect fairytale CONNECTION
BEST DRESSED DIRECTION
You are the one for years I've
Known wasn't it written in stone?
The DARKNESS has no spite tonight
As it fades to dawn
Every star shines with attitude
We find flamboyant gratitude
One last time I groan.
Are you coming...with me home?
