Plastic Shoes

Early 70's again...
My dear mother,
Bought for me...
A new thing on the market...
A wonder to see!
Plastic shoes!!
Looked like leather...
Price was real fine...
Little did I know...
The price paid would be mine..
See plastic don't let your
feet "breath",
Before you know it,
You're in agony...
But take them off...
You'll pay the price...
Cause they make your
feet no smell so nice...
My luck I was on a weekend trip,
Upstate with some girls who were hip..
We spent the weekend
at New Palz...
For me a disaster...
I needn't tell you why...
By the time we were
heading home...
I was hopin' to die...
